Discovery Channel Asia had a huge challenge ahead of them - they had two exciting new shows coming up about the largest island in Asia, but not many people were aware of Borneo, its historical culture and vast number of inhabitants. Thus, we created a microsite that would serve as the key touchpoint for all things Borneo related paired with a robust YouTube and social strategy that would push viewership of Frontier Borneo's digital episodes. Using processes such as design studio and style tiles, we created a digital experience that would allow users to explore the map of Borneo and what it has to offer, as well as to watch trailers and full episodes from the show with ease.
